Eating Made Easy.
St. Katharine Drexel Cafeteria Services
Food is our Fuel -so we prepare meals that are flavorful, energizing, and cooked on site. We want our students to feel confident that their special dietary needs are met with easy access to nutritional information. At St. Katharine Drexel, we are not participants in the National or Archdiocesan Lunch programs, however, we are committed to staying up-to-date on the current trends within the education food service market. All meals are served fresh in an allergen conscious environment.
Our menus are created by an experienced chef who has a passion for food. We recognize and accommodate your child’s dietary needs in a way that’s personalized, sensitive and supportive. In fact, we pride ourselves on working with you to make sure you can find the food that fits YOUR life. For more information or special dietary needs, please contact our campus food service director.
Lunch menus are posted below in the middle of each month. Print a menu, make your child’s selections and send it into school with your payment. Hot dogs and Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches are offered daily in addition to the featured menu item.
Most trips and days off will be listed on the lunch menu, but there will undoubtedly be unexpected trips and snow days. Information about lunch credits for such days will be posted on this tab. Since lunch is done on a pre-order basis, unfortunately we cannot credit for days absent, however you may come in and pick up your absent child’s lunch anytime between 12:00 and 12:45pm. In cases of extended absence, contact Mrs. Berk and we can adjust the menu.
February Credit Info
There are a few credits owed due to a snow day and late starts. If you have not taken your credit yet please see the following information. Any questions feel free to email me, Thanks Teri

Bagging your own?
Lunch Bag Rules:
Only small insulated lunch bags or small lunch boxes are permitted. No small picnic coolers or picnic totes are allowed. Each bag or lunch box must be labeled with student’s name and room number.
Please remember to pack a napkin or paper towel for your child’s eating area.
Please Note: Microwave use is not permitted.
There is also a snack table each day that offers items like cookies, pudding, cereal, Smart pop popcorn, and Fruit Roll-Ups! Children can also buy drinks at the snack table, including Capri Sun, Sunny D, and water bottles. We do keep an eye on the snacks we let the younger children buy, so you can be sure your child will not be eating candy and cookies as their lunch!
Please let your child know that if for any reason they are unprepared for lunch, they should not hesitate to come up and let us know. We will do our best to accommodate every child. No matter what the circumstance, they should NEVER just come in and skip lunch for the day. If you have any questions or concerns at all, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 215-870-6913
