Campus Life at St. Katharine Drexel
St. Katharine Drexel's students are happy on campus because our community gives them the space and support they need to grow into who they want to be. If students are curious about trying a new sport, club or leadership role, we encourage them. If they need advice on classes, friendships or high school, we provide it. The result is a lively, friendly and vibrant campus atmosphere.
Our CYO programs employ healthy and enjoyable competition to promote the sharing of gospel values among athletes, parents, and coaches assists parish leadership in nourishing the emotional, spiritual, social, and physical needs of young people encourages young people to appreciate the gifts that they possess and challenges them to share these gifts with their community.
Music lessons and band and choir participation are available for students in grades one through eight. Students may begin music lessons at any grade and at any time during the school year. Instrument rentals are available. St. Katharine Drexel has a Junior Band, Senior Band, Jazz Band, Drumline and Orchestra. Bands practice every week. Our bands and choir have won many awards over the years.
Food is our Fuel -so we prepare meals that are flavorful, energizing, and cooked on site. We want our students to feel confident that their special dietary needs are met with easy access to nutritional information. Our menus are created by an experienced chef who has a passion for food. After School Activities
Students are encouraged to join and serve in St. Katharine Drexel’s student organizations. By participating, students will grow personally and professionally while building new friendships and developing key social and leadership skills. Student organizations provide opportunities for leadership growth and development and support the social, educational, and cultural life of the school.
