“If you want your child to be an outstanding citizen of the world and to be prepared for the kingdom of God and if you want your child to be able to discover the talents hidden within them and to be able to find a place that will bring them out -whether it’s academics, music, or athletics – St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School is where that is going to happen.”

Monsignor John Marine, Pastor of St. Bede the Venerable Parish

Our Story

The 2012-2013 school year marked a new beginning for our school.  We celebrated a new name that honors a miracle that had its roots on the premises, and we welcomed the arrival of new students from Assumption BVM Parish, who joined with students from St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Holland, St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Richboro, and surrounding parishes to create an exceptional Catholic elementary school built for the future.

St. Katharine Drexel Regional Catholic School, located on the grounds of St. Bede Parish in Holland, Pennsylvania, includes full-day pre-kindergarten programs for ages 3-4, classrooms for grades K through 8, a state-of-the-art digital media center, an Arts & Sciences Center, a cafeteria, and a gymnasium with a stage for the performing arts. Classrooms are equipped with SMART Boards, projectors and high-speed Internet access.  Through our 1 to 1 technology initiative, chromebooks, laptops and iPads are a part of daily instruction for every student in grades K-8.

Though not mandatory, we believe that accreditation demonstrates our commitment to excellence and provides a strong endorsement for the value of an SKD education.

Our Mission

St. Katharine Drexel Catholic School forms Catholic Leaders through Academic Excellence, Personal Discipline, and Christian Service.

Academically, the school pursues a curriculum designed to exceed guidelines that are linked to national standards for all subject areas.

Socially, the school strives to create an environment for learning where children feel comfortable and loved, knowing they are supported by their classmates as well as their teachers.

Spiritually, the school emphasizes Christian service and personal discipline, with a goal toward developing Catholic leaders.

We Believe that:

  • A safe learning environment will promote student success.
  • Education is a collaborative effort between parents, teachers, and students.
  • Learning is a lifelong process.
  • Living the Gospel values of Jesus Christ through word and action will enable students to become future Catholic Leaders.
  • Every student is unique and valued.
