Ms. Elizabeth Menna
Ms. Menna graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is a state certified teacher. Growing up in Downingtown, PA, she attended St. Joseph School and Bishop Shanahan High School. Previously, Ms. Menna taught as a long term substitute at St. Monica School, volunteered with the Autism Speaks and Girls on the Run organizations, and was an administrative assistant and camp leader for children at her local recreation consortium. Ms. Menna is so excited to be joining the SKD family and feels privileged to be taking part in her second graders’ sacramental year as they grow as followers of Christ. She takes pride in establishing a strong classroom rapport and tailoring her instruction to student needs and interests. She keeps her students engaged by incorporating hands-on, creative, and technological activities in her classroom. Ms. Menna’s passion is to encourage her students to be lifelong learners that choose to serve God and others. In her free time, Ms. Menna can be see brewing a fresh cup of coffee, planning her next trip to the beach, reading about the latest fashion trends, or singing Broadway tunes.
