Tuition & Fees
2018-2019 School Year
St. Katharine Drexel School works diligently to find new ways toreduce administrative costs, increase gifts from our alumni and supporters, and keep tuition increases to a minimum. Most importantly, we want to ensure financial literacy among our families so you know exactly how much you’re paying for your child’s quality education.
The cost to SKD of educating a child is not fully covered by his or her tuition. Fortunately we have a generous school community that makes up that difference through fundraising and development. For information on how you can help finance our future, contact Mr. Daniel Clifton, Director of Advancement. You may also contribute to the Annual Fund or purchase a wishlist item from our “Give” Tab.

Guidance from our Business Manager:
Please know that no parent who sincerely desires a Catholic education for their child at Saint Katharine Drexel School will be denied registration because of true financial hardships. Each parish will address this concern on a case by case basis for their parishioners. Any additional financial aid scholarship, in addition to the parishes’ subsidy, will be predetermined, and awarded by the parish, prior to the start of the academic year. Families who believe they are eligible and in need of this aid are asked to contact their local parish office and request a financial aid packet which will include the request for all pertinent financial information.
- We strongly suggest that everyone fill out a FACTS Form, regardless of income – even if you do not quality for the 1st round of scholarships, there are subsequent awards that may come to you!
- The application fee is $30, all submissions are strictly confidential, and the application process is run by Business Leadership Organized for Catholic Schools (BLOCS)
- Here are some frequently asked questions regarding BLOCS scholarships
Our parishes and the Archdiocese as a whole believe in the value of Catholic Education and support it to the best of their ability. It is because of this that practicing Catholic families can receive a discount on their tuition through parish scholarships. Our parishes provide a subsidy for practicing parishioners.
